Founded in 2014 by Karl Lindman and Elin Kling, Toteme has experienced remarkable growth in its clientele and echelons within the fashion industry since its debut. A decade later, the brand unveiled its first runway show featuring its Fall 2024 Ready-To-Wear collection. The airy and minimal location embodied Scandinavian chic, supporting the brand's cultural roots, and focusing everyone's attention on their breathtaking collection.
The runway showcased an array of oversized coats, accents of fur, everyday handbags, and easy-to-wear separates, all carefully designed by Lindman and Kling with the intention of blending style and "real-life situations", as they passionately stated. Toteme, a label known for its high-end capsule classics, focused on the beauty of tapered silhouettes, wearable accessories, chic pointed-toe shoes, and statement textures to elevate its simplistic basics. In a world highly obsessed with quiet luxury, Toteme will continue to succeed with its timeless yet intricate designs. And as cultivating as this first runway show was, I'm certain it will not be their last.
